Technical VAT SupportAs part of our service offering to the NHS, we are committed to providing a ‘free’ helpline service for our clients to provide day-to-day VAT advice. Helpline queries generally include things such as:
In our experience, we are able to answer the majority of VAT queries immediately (i.e. if you telephone us) or within half-an-hour of the call. We will provide you with a list of office and mobile telephone numbers and email addresses to contact us on. We aim to confirm all queries via e-mail or if required, by letter. You can also submit queries via e-mail, in writing or via our technical queries web-page at www.crsvat.com. If a query is expected to take more than half-an-hour to resolve, we would expect to treat this as an additional VAT advisory assignment and if appropriate, we would agree any fees with you before proceeding any further. Attendance & support during HMRC visits or desktop reviews HMRC operate a visiting and/or desktop review programme for NHS organisations in order to ‘police’ VAT compliance. We are able to assist in making sure such a review is as streamlined and problem free as possible in order to mitigate unnecessary assessments and penalties. |
